Dear All,
GLTS celebrated Virtual Chithirai Thiruvizha on 26th April 2020 with a speech and interactive session with Dr G Gnanasambandam followed by an COVID-19 awareness speech by Dr Sundar. We started the virtual event with Tamil Thai Vazhthu and had a fun family game. After the games, Dr G Gnanasambandam gave a speech on Laugh and Win “சிரித்துக்கொண்டே ஜெயிப்போம் !!!”.
கலைமாமணி முனைவர் கு. ஞானசம்பந்தம் அவர்கள் ஒரு தமிழ் பேராசியர் , எழுத்தாளாளர், மிகவும் பிரபலமான நகைச்சுவை சொற்பொழிவாளர். 35க்கும் மேற்பட்ட தமிழ் திரைப்படங்களிலும், பல தொலைக்காட்சி தொடர்களிலும் நடித்து உள்ளார். இந்தியா மற்றும் வெளிநாடுகளிலும் எண்ணற்ற பட்டிமன்ற மேடைகளை தலைமை ஏற்று நடத்தியுள்ளார். அவர் கூறும் அறுந்தகவல்களும் எளிமையான நகைச்சுவை பேச்சு நடையும் தமிழ் மொழியின் மீது நமது ஆர்வத்தை தூண்டுவதாகவே இருக்கும்.

After that Dr Sundar provided an insightful awareness speech on COVID-19. It was an interactive session and his pointers on preventing the spread of virus was particularly valuable.
This was a fund-raising event to support local community, Key Workers and NHS Staffs. We thank all the participants, volunteers and contributors for making this event a successful one.
